Quasar's BI Software Support Services offers comprehensive problem resolution so you can get the level of support required for your business. With the cost of support services by most BI vendors increasing and the diminishing requirement of corporations to contact vendor support (other than for major bugs), Quasar has put together various levels of affordable support packages that are professionally delivered and with a focus on building productive relationships with our clients. Our support service is responsive, flexible and cost-effective.
There are a combination of factors that make the typical BI environment unique. This in turn leads to challenges that are unique and is why BI implementations are carried out by specialist BI teams. Exactly the same factors create challenges for supporting BI environments and that is why Quasar offers a range of BI support service offerings. Once an implementation is complete, an organization must answer the outstanding question of, “How much on-going support will we require?” Quasar can help answer that question and customize an Extended Services support plan to meet the needs of your organization. Due to the unique structure of Quasar, organizations are given the ability to tap into a large pool of experienced resources. Quasar support services cover analysis, isolation, diagnosis and resolution of reported technical platform or configuration issues. We leverage our specialist in-depth knowledge of various BI solutions in order to provide a range of premier support offerings. The service combines off/on-site consultation, dedicated BI consultants and the latest tracking and support tools.

A choice of support offerings is available to meet varying client needs.
Bronze
Scenario: Your organisation’s BI development team have a number of ad-hoc questions and issues with their on-going development and/or maintenance.
This is a framework agreement based upon a standard consulting model from which to provide support services rapidly as required.
Silver
Scenario: Your organisation has an existing BI reporting system and you need support to maintain its day to day running.
A support team is provided based upon the clients' specific requirements. The support team will provide up to 24 hours a month support, defect resolution and ongoing development. This service is provided on a flat fee basis.
Gold
Scenario: Your organisation has a large investment in Business Intelligence and needs expert-level services to drive continuous improvement and maximise the value from your investment.
Using this approach Quasar is able to schedule specific resources to meet the clients needs. Clients can also be scheduled for quarterly on-site visits. The service provides support, defect resolution and ongoing development. Each month the client purchases a minimum of 40 hours. This amount can be lowered or raised on a monthly basis. Hours that are not used are carried forward for a maximum of three (3) months. This service is provided on a flat fee basis.
